The role is to cover a maternity leave, with the option of a permanent position. You'll be responsible for the in-house graphic solutions for OCTAEVO, using a mix of traditional and digital graphic skills. You will be working in a fast-paced and international team, based in our headquarter in Barcelona.


• Develop highly aesthetic and thoughtful graphic designs solutions that reflect the company’s core values.

• Work with the art department to create original graphic content for new products, packaging, e-commerce and marketing material.

• Develop product and art direction concepts and see them through until the final result.

• Support the teams' digital and social media strategy by creating weekly newsletters, instagram stories, video and other digital content.

• Co-ordinate and oversee production while meeting deadlines.

• Perform day-to-day website maintenance, ensuring e-commerce site remains up to date.

• Constantly research and detect emerging design tendencies.


• Excellent design, art direction and technical skills with a great sensibility for photography, illustration, typography, colour, layout and moving image.

• Exquisite communication skills and capacity to offer quick creative solutions in a fast-paced work environment.

• Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premier etc.)

• Can-do attitude and with great understanding of our products and how to reach our target audience.

• Good knowledge of e-commerce, Mailchimp, Vimeo and Shopify is a plus.

• Well-organized and multitasking.

• Strong work ethic and team player with problem-solving attitude. 

• Stays calm and in control in stressful situations. 

• Languages: Spanish & English (very well written and spoken).

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

• Barcelona based (mandatory)

We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team at our headquarter in the Poble Nou district, Barcelona. In this position you will be a competent, passionate and hands-on leader, being able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture. 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily operation and organization of the business and office, working closely with the Creative Director. 

• Provides effective leadership to staff while serving as their main contact.  Helps workers through constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement. 

• Establishes the company’s schedules, goals and objectives while pushing towards financial and operational objectives.

• Develops a comprehensive company budget and performs periodic budget analyses. 

• Constantly assess overall office and company performance.

• Organizes, coordinates and executes with a hands-on attitude projects to improve office and company operations to achieve a lean, fast and cost effective structure. 

• Makes sure that company takes full advantage of integrated systems while constantly supervising and improving automized processes between systems (E-commerce, B2B sales platorm, ERP, CRM)

• Assess, identifies and constantly pursues new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets, with main focus on e-commerce. 

• Builds long-term relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers and pro-actively coordinates projects with them. 

• Serves as main contact for key accounts (important clients, distributors, press agencies, special projects and collaborations)

• Ensures that company has the adequate and suitable resources needed to complete its activities.

• Collects, researches, tracks, analyzes relevant business data and prepares reports.

• Represents the company in tradeshows and other events.

• Recruits and trains new employees.

• Performs regular employee evaluations to determine areas of improvement together with creative director.

• Ensures adherence to legal rules and guidelines.


• Proven experience as business manager with a global vision

• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes, strategy development and finance in retail sector. Knowledge of design industry is required.

• Great knowledge of e-commerce, marketing, sales principles and customer service.

• Excellent organizational, time-management and leadership skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enthusiastic and dynamic with the ability to motivate people. 

• Extremely high attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and multi-tasking with a hands-on attitude. 

• Customer focused and able to build strong customer relationships.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, different databases and IT systems, ERP, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics NAV).

• Languages: Mother tongue Spanish, English (proficiency), additional languages a plus (especially French).

• MA in Business Management or similar relevant field.
